So I had this idea to photograph a family on a cool couch in a field. I have photographed this family for the past few years and thought they'd be the perfect match to try my idea. They get my style of shooting, little posing and more of them just being a family. Now all we needed was a couch and field. I was hoping to find a couch at a thrift shop or market sale, but instead realized that my dear friend had one that would work perfectly. So I must say a HUGE thank you to my freinds who let me borrow their couch and to my husband and my friends husband for loading, hauling, and placing it in the field for us to use. Luckily my client had the perfect spot. So now we had a couch, a field and a beautiful family! Yay!
I love the way they turned out and am thinking I should do mini sessions next fall using this same set up. I will photograph mulitiple families so that hauling the couch will be more worth while because it was alot of work especially for my husband and our friend. Awesome idea with the couch and the field! Cool enough for me to be interested in an ulcer trying to figure out clothes for the four of us to wear for an updated family picture. These kids are beautiful too!
